Pixi recently released a new product – Retinol Tonic. Usually before I buy anything I like to read reviews but this time I could not help myself. This is a new product, no one has ever tried yet, but I was so curious that I immediately bought it when it came to stock.
Pixi's Retinol Tonic with suspension release should help smooth and soften the skin, contains anti-oxidants and botanical components to soothe the skin without irritation that may occur in the skin when used with retinol. Unfortunately Pixi has not released much information about this toner. Apparently Pixie wants us to use our imagination because there are no user manuals.
Retinol is a vitamin A derivative that promotes skin rejuvenation, helps to tone skin, reduces acne and increases skin collagen production. From the information I've found, Pixi's toner contains a jasmine flower extract that helps soothe and protect the skin, and peptides that increase collagen production. Toner should soften the wrinkles without irritating the skin.
According to the ingredients list, it is clear that the amount of retinol is not high in Pixi's toner. It does not contain alcohol that is very unhealthy and there are many herbal extracts on the list designed to soothe the skin from the use of retinol.

Texture and Scent
The texture of the toner is liquid, feels very watery and gives a cool feeling to the skin. It smells of plants that evaporate quickly, a little like lavender or rosemary, both actually on the ingredient list.
How to Use
As mentioned above, Pixi didn't give instructions, but it's actually really simple. You can use a cotton wool or drip a few drops in your hands and apply to your face. The toner is quickly absorbed into the skin.
Recent Thoughts …
After a few times of use, I could already see the excellent moisture it was giving and the firmness to the skin. With longer use, I have already noticed that the toner helped improve the texture of the skin and blur the spots. I have not been able to see a change in wrinkles for a while (after a month), but on the other hand my skin is well maintained and I do not have many wrinkles at all.
I loved this toner and I'll probably buy it again. It is great for those who want to add moisture toner to their skincare routine and to experience especially gentle retinol. I will continue to update if I see more improvements, but meanwhile I am satisfied 🙂
